Pineapple Surprise

1/2 c. butter, softened

1 c. sugar

4 eggs

1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained

1/8 t. cinnamon

dash of nutmeg

7 slices of white bread, cubed

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer.

Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Add spices.

Stir in drained pineapple.

Add bread and mix well.

Turn the mixture into a buttered casserole dish.

Bake 1 hour.
