(by Leeane Melendez Schoener)

1/2 c. sugar

3 medium eggs

14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk

12-oz. can evaporated milk

4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature

1 1/2 t. vanilla extract

Over medium-low heat, cook sugar, stirring, until it melts and and turns golden brown.

Pour sugar into a 9-inch round baking pan.

Put eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, and vanilla into a blender, and blend at high speed until smooth.

Put the baking pan with the sugar into a larger pan.

Pour the flan mixture over the sugared pan.
