Shrimp Alfredo

(by Samantha Rane)

1⁄4 c. butter

1 c. heavy cream

1 small clove garlic, crushed

1 1⁄2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

pinch of dried rosemary

1⁄4 c. chopped fresh parsley

sea salt to taste

1/2 lb. noodles

1 lb. shrimp, shelled

optional: cooked Italian sausage, sliced

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.

Add cream and garlic, and simmer for 5 - 8 minutes, or until thickened.

Whisk in cheese, rosemary, parsley, and sea salt to taste.

Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling salted water and drain.

Boil shrimp just until done, about 3 - 4 minutes.

Remove garlic clove from sauce, and combine with noodles and shrimp.

(We add Italian sausage, but up to you.)

Serves 4.
